Infiniti iPod interface doesnt turn iPod off after I key off.

Infiniti iPod interface doesnt turn iPod off after I key off.
Does any ones iPod turn off after you turn the car off? My nav keeps the iPod on and will run until the iPod battery completely drains. Is the Infiniti interface supposed to turn the iPod off when you turn the car off?

the ipod usually comes off after a while when its not in use..mines doesn't come off when i turn the car off, but shuts itself down when its not in use. (3rd gen)

would you be interested in a JP lip btw?
