Hardwire help

I am trying to hardwire my V1 using the invisicord. My problem is, the wire taps do not seem to want to go into the harness. How hard do I push? I do not want to break anything. Are they supposed to go in all the way with no metal showing, or should some metal be showing on the taps? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

you gotta push pretty hard. however, you may have gotten the larger leads. i had the same problem and wrote invisicord. they sent me another with the smaller leads, and i shipped mine back to them.

I used a sewing needle in a pair vise-grips and stuck that where the leads are supposed to go. Wiggle it around a little while it's stuck in there. The leads should go in much easier after that.
