aFe Takeda Attack Stage-2 Cold Air Intake...Grill won't fit
 

In need of advice.I just installed aFe Takeda Attack Stage-2 Cold Air Intakes on my '09 G37 S sedan. I can't get the grill to fit back on. I've seen some people say you can remove the splash shield but I'm hesitant to do that and it seems like it still wouldn't fit. Others have suggested trying to move it back a little to make the grill fit but that seems tricky. Has anybody experienced this? Is there a mesh grill that will fit with enough clearance for the cai? Do I need to worry about rain and water until I fix the issue? Any suggestions welcome.
