it's been great but i said farewell to my g
well i was itching for another ride for the past few months and yesterday the stars aligned. got a pretty good deal on an lexus. yes, unfortunately a toyota product, i am not a big fan of toyota products but i've been disappointed with current nissan/infiniti products. i really dislike turbo engines and was not going to get the 3.0 q as a result. although the lexus gs350 fsport is not as torque'y or have the handling of a g i went with it as it was something fresh and novel that i can cruise in for awhile, until hopefully nissan/infiniti makes something that will catch my eye and tastes. although i will no longer have a g, i think i will still continue to check in to the site from time to time and see whats going on. have a good weekend to all the diehard g-men here.

Yeah, Infiniti has nothing to offer at the moment. Not really impressed with their lineup. The QX55 might be a contender as my next ride but I'm leaning toward the Genesis GV30. I will keep my 2015 Q60 as a fun car though.
But I'm looking forward to see how the Nissan 400z turns out. |
Congratulations on the new ride! Always a conflicting feeling when letting the G go but the GS350, especially with the Fsport package/trim is a great car.

thanks, the gs 350 fsport does have nice features and the interior is superb. but the car lacks the handling of the g or q in addition I'm still trying to turn off that annoying easy exit feature of the steering wheel. i hate that damn thing constantly moving as i turn the car on/off.

Congrats! Have the same reluctance towards turbos, though these days it's looking more and more like the M/T.
The Genesis could be a good replacement when my G retires. |
