Why ‘10 G37 reliability is higher than ‘09 in Consumer Reports?

If the ‘09 G37 sedan is practically the same as the ‘10 & ‘11, then why does Consumer Reports give the ‘09 a slightly lower reliability mark?

Mechanically speaking, are there any differences?

Thanks.

Because more subscribers responded to their auto survey in 09 than in 10 and 11

when did the touchscreen change? I think it was in 2010. Annoyances with infotainment carry a lot of weight in Consumer Reports rankings.

That's probably it. And the first year for the 3.7 in the Sedan, (second year for the Coupe).

That's a lots of first year stuff that had to shake out.
