New battery won’t work

I bought a new 24f Everstart battery at Walmart today and when I tied it up on my 2010 Infiniti G37 only 3 lights came up. The key, the lock and the steering. Can someone please help me or did I buy the wrong battery

Is the battery charged? Are the cables connected tightly?

Sorry your first post here is about a problem.

It is not unheard of to purchase a defective or a fully discharged battery.

Test the cells with a battery hydrometer

If fully charged check your battery cables and test with your multimeter

24 and 35 are physically close in size. The 24 is about 1" longer. Other than that the only difference is LH positive on the 24 vs RH positive on the 35.

I have seen on more than one occasion where the installer forgot to take off the negative plastic cap. Especially when installed in low light conditions. The joys of being a parts guy...

But things light up, so that eliminates that.
