To change fluids or not

My 60K is coming up and I plan on getting most of my fluids changed, but the thing is in September I'll be gone for a year. Should I get new fluids before I let it sit for a year, or do it when I get back?

Can I guess, but will it really cause a problem. My daily driven G35 has 270k miles on it right now, the coolant has only been changed once at 120k miles when the radiator had a small leak and the brake fluid was changed once at about 140k ............ no issues with the either still.

Brake fluid REALLY, REALLY wants to absorb water. Any time you pop the cap of the reservoir, humidity is pulled out of the air. This water will corrode aluminum and mild steel parts over time as well as lower the stated boiling point.

Coolant shouldn't be an issue unless a head gasket isn't sealing. Combustion products will enter the cooling system and some of these products are organic acids. In addition, additives for lubing the water pump wear down over time.

So, fresh fluids will provide full protection over long-term storage.
