I wouldn't go far to say its OEM but in my opinion it fits the car very well especially from the front view if your car is lowered. Mine is not paint matched its the default colour out of the box. It is polyurethane which is incredibly easy to paint with the proper prep work (sand, prime etc.). Hope these answers help.

Thanks!! As a college student on a budget, it was never going to feasible to buy the sport bumper or OEM chin just to have the look in my opinion. Plus I'm always willing to learn to work on my car, so for 70$ it wouldn't be a big loss.
Hopefully this at least motivates others to just give projects a shot, and if you take your time with it, the results will be awesome

Just installed this. Looks great on a white, non-sport bumper. I decided not to remove the bumper just to see how much of a challenge it would be in comparison to how OP did it. I can confirm, it is indeed, an enormous PITA. Took me about 5-6 hours between measuring, cutting, measuring again, cutting, etc...very difficult to get it lined up and to stay in position. I used some 2x4 blocks to build up the lip for it to sit on while I got it in place to see what I needed to cut.
You definitely need a Dremel to do this but I'll mention - The dremel will cause the plastic to melt and create...boogers along the cut. I used a boxcutter to remove them. Lastly, even on stock suspension you don't have enough room to drill your holes so that added another 'step' as I had to use ramps to gain clearance after marking the bumper.
Very happy with the way it turned out. Appreciate you for taking the plunge and posting the info OP.

I bought a STI lip and it arrived in the mail. I was going to do this to my car, but now that I look deeper into it, with having to cut the ends off, I don't know if I can live with having the winglets open in the rear. You don't see it in any of the OP's post, but the winglets on the sides are completely closed off and look really good when the lip arrives. But having to cut the winglets down, the rear section of the wings is now open and I just feel wouldn't look right. Hard to explain without pictures, but it would look like you bought a lip, it didn't fit, so you cut it to make it fit, and that's not the look I want on my G.
OP, can you take a pic of from behind the lip, so you can see where you had to cut?
