I would think 250k at least. There is the problem with the rear seal which has happened to people with cars from 2008-2010. There is the automatic transmission which can be week. Last couple of days I haven't liked how mine has felt at times. There is the fact that Infiniti used Plastic Valve Covers. My BMW had a plastic valve covers, around 100k I had the gasket replaced, it was only $200 if I remember right.

After about 215k on my BMW my Valve Cover had a small crack by then my car had so many issues and was worth so little I say bye to it.. Damn it used to be that every car had Metal valve covers, wtf. I almost bought a Lexus is350 and they have aluminum valve covers. I had an oil and they told me they saw some oil seepage, I don't think I have lost an ounce of oil. I have them put in Semi-Syn and it is done between 4-5k

Keep up with your fluids. My car has 182,600 on it. I did things that I know were too early. I put in a new battery, but I think that the old one drained by me not switching the car to off one day at work. I saw the dreaded rear diff stain and had a mechanic put in poly diff bushings (for some reason Nissan only puts one in the car, when lexus uses two.), Mobil 1 LSD Diff Fluid and Subframe sleeves, only to find out that my subframe was replaced under warranty in late 2013 and didn't need to have any bushings replaced. I have cleaned my throttle bodies once, but didn't take them off. I figure I will do that when I need to replace the spark plugs which I plan to do at 200k, the last time it was done is 120k.

I bought new front rotors, pads, and fluid on sale. When my mechanic took the old pads out, they had at least 40% life left. One bad thing about the BBK is that it is much harder to tell when the pads need replacement. The rears were done by the dealer before I bought the car.I have had the car since 158k, every fluid has been replaced except for the Power Steering. The transmission flush was done twice because I didn't like that they used something other than Nissan Matic S.

My plan is to get a Tesla Model 3 around 2020 or so, I am looking for one with long dist battery, perhaps only the one engine and upgraded interior. I figure around 2020-2021 they will go for about 20-25, vs say 50 now. I don't care about the audio because I might just get the aftermarket kit made for the Tesla, heard its t!ts.

If I keep my house I will probably get solar panels and a battery so that I can charge it at night. I don't drive more then 150 miles at a time.

2012 Infiniti G37 112k, water pump replaced along with coolant, Mobil 1 synthetic oil changes around 5.5 - 6k. Changed transmission fluid every 30-35k. Changed differential fluid every 40k.Very reliable car and I plan on keeping it until the wheels fall off (that's what I say now).

I don't think it's a common issue on the G37 for the water pump to fail. Mine just happened to failed at 112k. What happened was that I noticed a wet drip from the driver side on the engine when I was doing a brake job. Took the car in to the dealership and they pressured tested the cooling system and it turned out to be the water pump.

Is there anything we should look after as the mileage creeps up?

Any issues with the clutch slave cylinder failing?

Just hit 254K in my 2009 G37 sedan. I changed the plugs and coolant at 100K. Just routine oil changes since then

I actually had the same question as you, and when I researched online, saw a ton of people that said they hit over 200K up to 250K without any issues as long as they maintained the car. But I just purchased mine less than a week ago, it's at 59K miles. *Got it for $12K (before dealer fees and my added warranty). Loving it so far!
