Flickering

driver side headlight bulb works intermittently. i thought the bulb was burnt but upon driving today it came back on.

when i turn the low beam on and off the driver side bulb flickers and just turns off most of the time. If i turn it on and off many many times ie. 10+ times then sometimes by luck the bulb will light up again.

is the bulb the culprit or the ballast?

can bulbs be "partially burnt"?

Could be bulb or ballast. If you want to check you can switch the driver and passenger bulbs and see if the issue follows the bulb or not.

Have you upgraded your HID bulb as of late? The ballast on the G is very picky with bulbs. I went through several sets of HID bulbs before I got the right ones. Try what Epiphany stated above if that doesn't work you might have to try new bulbs.
