Glad to hear things are looking good for you. Needed a break after what happened and it sounds like you're making the most of it. I really like the Toyota truck and SUV line. My dad just picked up a '16 or '17 Tundra and its a gorgeous truck. Can't beat the Cummins either.
Personally not a truck or SUV guy but I think they're sharp looking.

Thought I'd provide an update. I am for now just driving the Mustang and kind of enjoying having a convertible. I received two job offers this week and have three more companies that have moved me to the final round next week. All in all I am looking at 40% increase in salary!! Still cannot decide what vehicle to buy. ISF's are extremely hard to come by and the thought of getting an older car and spending over 30k doesn't seem as appealing anymore.
As of right now we are leaning towards purchasing a new 17 4runner TRD Off Road. The main reason for this is that it would be great to have something we can tow the jet ski's and boat with and not have to depend on her brother's truck and also it would be something we can still use as a long term vehicle based on reliability and resale and that it works great for a family. My G would never make it down to the dock, so I like the thought of something that can go "anywhere" if needed. I do love 4runner's and have always wanted to have one and of all the things we have looked at, it makes the most sense at my current stage in life.

Why no C63? At least it's my favorite compact sports sedan

That's awesome!
Good luck. Those things are incredibly hot commodities now from my understanding and most people are paying sticker for them.

in some areas absolutely, however if you are patient and don't mind ordering one, it can be 10-11% off sticker. I'm aiming to get it for 37k or so. Just to clarify this isn't the TRD Pro, which sticker price is pretty much non negotiable.

Thought I'd drop in and give an update. I was offered three different jobs in the last week, passed on one and my top two gave me offers yesterday, I selected my first choice and got the position I wanted with a 34% increase from my previous job! I also earned my PMP while I had the time off!
Still searching for the exact 4Runner I want, there are not a lot of the Off Road models around in the blue color I am looking for. I'll post pics once I have one.

Congrats on the new gig! Everything happens for a reason in life. The new job is a blessing and you'll have a newer replacement car which will make you even happier. Can't wait for new photos!
P.S. I've also been eyeing some Yotas...either a 4Runner TRD or a used FJ Cruiser Trail Teams edition.

The replacement has arrived, 17 TRD Off Road premium, absolutely love it. Mods to come are a full TRD Pro exterior conversion and skid plate and bilstein 6112/5160 combo and lifting the front 1" and nitto terra grapplers in 265/70/17. Eventually I'll be adding HID's and rigid led fogs and upgrading the audio to OEM Audio Plus new replacement system.
