It's an actual axle back exhaust, not straight pipe. Plus it's 304 grade stainless steel + mandrel bent. Yea any1 can straight pipe it for cheap . Which is illegal btw.

I just purchased this, so I expect to have it on by this weekend. Since I replaced my resonators with the 12" vibrants, this should be pretty loud right?

It probably will just sound like a coupe with muffler delete since the coupe has 12" resonators stock

Just installed. I am going to have to take off tomorrow and grind down the tips about a 1/4 to fit better. The slits on the ends dont go all the way over the oem piping and there are small leaks. I was anxious to get it on and it is absolutely loud but sounds so nice. Im going to wait to get a clip uploaded until its installed properly. I had to test it out and in manual mode it sounds even better. Super deep vq growl.

Can you give me a definite answer on if the exhaust hangers that are on the top speed are the same size as the OEM ones in regards to thickness? Thanks

0.473 is what came up on the TopSpeed

Also, got frustrated with my clamps and really didnt feel like grinding anything at all (worried I may go to far or too little) so I just went by a local muffler shop and had them weld them in and align them perfectly in place. Took 10 minutes and they only charged me 30 bucks. Well worth it to me. Ill have a new sound clip soon. This set up is still really loud, IMO. Maybe im just getting old.

I actually look into buying one of these, but then I just realized that it's just the straight pipe though. I wonder if it's going to be too loud since some people said that when they removed the muffler, it's way too louder which can wake up the dead. If it's too loud, I think I would buy the Topspeed Y-Pipe which is "cheaper".

When I first installed this back in May, I thought it was a little too loud. Ive kept it on since then and I am used to it now. I already want it a bit louder. Here is a clip that I was supposed to post after I got it properly installed-

I think the muffler delete with OEM pipes all the way sounds perfect. My brother is a shop manager at a muffler shop, so he's heard just about every exhaust. He says my car is one of a few that can pull off the muffler delete alone and sound amazing. Why bother dropping $1500 on a exhaust that gives me 3-5hp? You don't even feel it. Stick with the muffler delete for a somewhat aggressive exhaust that will run you ~$100.
