Perfect- thanks iCrap. Does anyone have a picture of which plug this is on the passenger side so I know which one to test for the occupant sensor?

Unfortunately the Infiniti passenger's air bag weight sensor pad isn't so simple to bypass like some other air bag sensors that just use a fixed resistance signal (like the one's in my Porsche). The Infiniti actually has a control box connected to the weight sensor pad which takes inputs from the multiple weight sensors positioned in the weight sensor pad and then sends a variable/digital output signal based on these various inputs. This makes it difficult to bypass... hence the reason most people just leave the OEM sensor plugged in, wrap it up like a burrito or taco (depending on what type of Mexican cuisine you prefer) and stuff it under the seat. I'm guessing the passenger's air bag bypass module that you can buy just replicates this signal. Here are a few pics of the control box (that's stuffed into the seat foam in the back of the OEM seat cushion) and weight sensor that are connected via a ribbon cable.

Bummer. So maybe I should just buy that occupant sensor emulator and be done with it.

Glad to see the brackets finally arrived. Have you decided on a seat yet?

Yes, Sparco R600 for my side that I plan to order in the next few days. If it is not too tight of a fit I will probably order another for the passenger side. Otherwise I will do the wider R100 for the passenger side.

Will do. I am just trying to find a vender on Amazon that will not charge me an arm and a leg for shipping or restocking fees if the R600 does not fit since I have Amazon gift certificates to use up.

Direct Performance Products in OH is significantly less expensive than everyone else ($640), but they have no website or phone number. They did e-mail back and charge a 10% restocking fee after I pay for shipping. Everyone else is $775-$800

Thanks! I hope that is the same company. I heard from them once last week and they said they did not have a website or a phone number so I e-mailed them twice this week, but heard nothing. Maybe it is a different company with the same name. I will try that number and then probably just order from Concept Z or someplace similar next week.

I tried calling that number a few times, but it just went dead. I think I came up with that same number when I searched earlier. Probably just going to suck up the extra $100 or so and order the seat somewhere else. Thanks for your help though.

Today I finally had a chance to test fit the driver's side seat rails. Everything seems to bolt up fine. The seem a bit high, but I am sure aftermarket seats do not have as much stuff underneath them without any motors. Fingers crossed I don't have to drive with my head out the moonroof.

Anyone read Japanese?

Nice, rail may seem high but a bucket seat installed on the rail should be lower than stock seat height.
