Could not pass up the deal for the BBK for under $250 and just got in today. Overall for the price you cannot beat this deal. I still need to get rotors and pads so most likely going to order the z1 kit with SS brake lines too. Wont make the swap till the warmer weather. Just a caution idk if anyone else had this happen but some parts have white on the over the powder coat not too big of a worry for me since I am going to get the re powder coated blue. Here are some pics

Won't the shop blast them first and remove the red? That basic red looks horrible, IMO.

Yeah, that looks like paint marks for marking the bolts to me as well. Otherwise those look really nice for the price!

FYI.. If they are truly powder coated then their need to burn the red off in an oven... bead blasting or sand blasting really only works well for painted surfaces.

None of the pictures posted so far (including mine) show off the actual red that they are in person. I think they look better in person.

Anyone know if i can just paint over the powdercoat? That's what I was planning on doing... with some high heat caliper paint.

Look at 2G's post. I don't know personally but he seems to think it's not that simple.

Yeah but I think he is referring to re-powedercoating. You can't powdercoat over powdercoat but I think you should be able to paint over it.

AS far as the paint on the bolts goes, the aircraft and I'm guessing heavy machinery industries use something called 'glyptal' as a movement indicator. In non-heat-sensitive applications I've used nail polish.
