The only prerequisite is minimizing load. So turn off radio, turn off AC, start the car with the hand brake engaged and headlights off (handbrake start will keep the DRL turned off). You can do the relearn at any time. It was weird, just kept going with no progress bar. Just let it sit for a few minutes, did two key cycles (turn on, 2 min drive, turn off) to make sure all was good. Idle went from 900 to 650 and is perfect now. Oh and yeah, I let the car warm up to regular operating temps.

I too opened my hood to find a missing emblem. But mine was not just laying there nor was it in the bottom tray. Rochester, better secure that emblem now! Yesterday, I started working on a "fix". Should have it done this weekend.

dammit, I tried this yesterday, everything was going good up until it got to about 3000 on the count then it said unsuccessful...I'm not sure if my OBD2 dongle dropped the connection at that point or if I'm doing something else wrong...how high does the number count on the relearn go?....This is super valuable info for a lot of ppl on her i think, maybe post a DIY for dummies like me if you have the time.

I let it go till about 2000, then reloaded the app, checked the idle rpm, it went down to the acceptable range. Didn't get a successful or unsuccessful message. Some videos show the progress number hit 200 and finish. What does the app say your idle rpm is? If it went down to the acceptable 650-700 range, even if you didnt get a success message, it worked. Might need to clear the "throttle position" codes first. Could also be the chip version of your OBD dongle. Guys at Nissan Data Scan say some chinese knockoff dongles arent supported because they use an inferior chip. Then again, my "veepeak" isnt a knockoff obd dongle, and it still acted weird.

Another weekend, more progress More blurry pics!!! (I think the focus is stuck in the bottom left)
Changed the shape of the shields from going straight up to a kind of curve. Based on where the air is coming in, this should create a nice vortex. Also, thanks for the idea John, wrapped the outside of the shields with heat reflective tape. Instant improvement! It takes about 4 times longer for the heat to build up while idling. While driving, I'm now averaging just 3°C above outside temp on my intake temperatures based on 2 hours of mixed highway and city driving today, and 2 1 hour similar trips yesterday, all down some awesome back roads. I checked the outside temperature on a digital and analog thermometer before and after each trip to make sure I was being as consistent as possible. All I can say is SUCCESS!!! I am also wrapping the intake pipes in the same material next weekend.

BLURRY BONUS: New steering wheel finally in! Light gray matches the carpets and neck pillows, and the dark gray is the same charcoal as the plastics and the airbag. The bad lighting, bad camera, and weird reflections make the colours look a bit off, but in person, they're a great match.

Diamond stiched whatever that is in your footwell... first impression is pretty cool.

I love how I can mock you about something that you turn around into a great idea. That's awesome.

Not a fan of tan seats but ur looks pretty mature and classy. It goes well. Only thing that's odd is the color choice of the top n bottom of the steering wheel. The color doesn't seem to match anything. I think maybe going same tan color as the seats would Been better?

The top and bottom is an exact match to those mats, and the neck pillows on the headrests. And the sides are an exact match to the colour of the airbag and all that other stuff of that colour. It photographs weird, bad lighting in the parking garage with bad shadows. Looks perfect in person

No, lol. I'm not that dumb. I'm dumber, leased then bought out my lease.

Sometimes decisions make sense at the time, and even in hindsight, it wasn't a terrible idea, and the alternatives were not better. If I didn't buy out my lease, I would have bought a more expensive car
