The idea is that the button works slightly but the computer will still kick in when it wants to the button on the dash only dims it down this actually shuts off the module

Hmmm i was thinking is there a way to rewire the heated seats and snow mode and maybe i can just add a board like this (not exact one just going over ideas in my head)

https://www.amazon.com/TEQStone-Circuit-Breakers-Voltmeter-Cigarette/dp/B0744DZ1BL/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1528202169&sr=8-2&keywords=switch+board+car https://www.amazon.com/TEQStone-Circuit-Breakers-Voltmeter-Cigarette/dp/B0744DZ1BL/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1528202169&sr=8-2&keywords=switch+board+car

Or is this a dumb idea

EDIT: this will fit with minor fabrication but would it look dumb (or in my case worse then it does already)

The VDC button doesn’t fully disengage dynamic control... this DIY is what he followed to a certain extent but didn’t place the switch in the console.

Ah, thanks. And I see you caught & fixed your "centaur extent", LOL

It's not uncommon that I turn of TC in my 6MT, usually when planning on a hard launch, or wanting the back end to spin and drift a little. It's certainly not an everyday thing, although it does happen from time to time. But in all the times I've done this, I've never had the sense that the TC was still engaged because it wasn't all-the-way off.

Maybe it's a difference more noticeable on the AWD than the 6MT? You have a 6MT... what are your thoughts on the matter?

It may be different im the same way when i want a little drift id hit the button and id still feel the car kick in some control

As for the switch placement im gonna see other ways to make it work in that spot going to order another assembly so i have it, but play around with this one im thinking if i make it symmetrical on the other side it may not be all too bad if anything ill brainstom another spot

Yeah it wasn’t even close to “certain” lol. I also turn my TC OFF but have never felt like I could, or was about to, lose control.... meaning there is still something working in the background.

Thoughts?

God, I hate trying to read posts made by phone. You can be bothered to type letters but not punctuation.
