Body-colored spats on the diffuser... that's kind of neat. The resonated tips (which could really stand to be polished) look great in that gloss black surround. Very nice.
However, the diffuser significantly compromises the fitment of your license plate, and turns the mod into a hack job. Anything that can be done to fix that?

It might not look right, but it might look better. And better is better than nothing. Very clever, Nico-derm.
Now I'm looking at this pic close-up, too. Look again at the fitment along to top, at the transition between the diffuser and the spats. The diffuser is actually mounted a half inch or more too high, which would explain the problem with the license plate. The diffuser it's intended to fit under the crease, not over it.
Ah, and you know why it's a half-inch too high? Because the exhaust tips were compromising the fitment. The entire exhaust needs to lower a half inch, or just the tips themselves somehow.
Or the diffuser needs some significant body work, either to increase the cut-out for the exhaust tips, or to dramatically alter the entire top of the unit. Either way, it's not right. I'm thinking the diffuser design specs are compromised because of the exhaust components.
Freaking huge ARK tips are butchering this mod.

I agree from that angle it is probably designed to flush fit and not overlap... wonder if the tips were the only reason for the orientation. The body coloured spats lip as well when you look at the other pic
How would you get it to not overlap and not create a gap elsewhere is the question...
Edit: OP don’t take this convo the wrong way, it’s just what we do lol

The inside of the diffuser tells you how to fit.

So... how come the license plate doesn't fit? In both of those pictures, those other cars had their tag jammed up the exact same way. I think maybe Nico-derm's idea for spacers is worth looking into after all.

Hey, I believe you. I made some inaccurate assumptions. Thanks for clarifying things on the design.

Not everybody like it, and I definitely recommend to be install by a body shop. I installed mine w the help of a friend ( professional ).
Regarding the plate;
It’s the design, I would definitely like to try Nico spacers recommendation w a new custom plate
