They sit lower than the sedan seats for any tall owners like me. And wait, There's more, they offer more aggressive bolster adjustment than the sedan. (imo)
And everything is plug n play, just needs the sedan module under the seat swapped over.

I've always wondered if these would drop right in. They look much better than the sedan sport seats, I think it's the stitching I like.

I think they are more aggressively bolstered than the sedan, and they provide more head room. Headroom issue is really if you are over 6ft tall...some ppl on here have modified the rail to get a bit more clearance....

I'm 6'7" and wish I waited for the non-sunroof option....... I'm sure seeing me leaning toward one side was a funny sight during the road course meet I participated in a few weeks ago. LOL. Had to wear a helmet and that took up the one inch head clearance I had and then some.

How much more head clearance does this give you?

Every time I've sat in a Coupe with sport seats, it feels like the side bolstering is much more severe. But I really don't know for sure, because I never focused on the differences enough to make it a point of miscellaneous knowledge.

I think they're different. Should be an easy answer from someone.

Lol, I need to drop by your place sometime to check out if the wire harness is similar.

Yea, got too busy this weekend with friend's throttle body issue. LOL

@kc_pig: Roughly 3-4 fingers width. I am 6"1.

@Lego_Maniac: Visual wise, quick glance you may seem to think they are the same. But there is distinct differences between the seats. (I swapped the headrest from the sedan)

The bolster adjustment is much more aggressive on the thigh and back.
In the sedan sport seat, the height from where your butt sits to the floor is higher than the coupe seat.

In the sedan seat, my hair would brush against the roof-liner. With the swap, I am 3-4 fingers width down. My set seat position did not change..

If you have a dealer near you, I advise you to try out a 37S coupe seat.

I sat in a 09 G37xS and the bolstering was severely more fitting (since they are powered side and thigh bolster's) then my 13 G37x sedan which are not powered, the bolstering is a lot less severe since you can't adjust the position.

As the owner of a '10 xS I just can't imagine driving in a seat even more bolstered than the sport drivers seat. It's already downright uncomfortable. My seat is adjusted to the widest width and still it's not to my liking. I'm 6'2 and can't imagine being 6'7 in this seat!

Right, but you have a X sedan. There is a visual difference in the non-sport and sport seats.

He's saying the sport seats in the S coupe are different than the sport seats in the S sedan.

I really want the air conditioned seats out of a S 'vert

+1 on the AC Seats.... I would gladly trade my heated for cooled. A heated seat gets used for 5 min whereas the cooled could be on for a whole trip
