As many of you know, my car is gone. But, part of it lives in my roomate's sedan. He bought my Motordyne ART pipes off the owner of my old G37. Here it is paired with his 2.25'' Fast Intentions Resonated Cat-Back. He has a Motordyne cat-back on order to round it off.

Sounds nice. I wonder how much louder having the ARTs pairdd with the E370 is compared to mine with Z1 HFCs . Add some headers and it'll prob be real nice.

Does anyone know what this squeak is? It happens mostly in lower rpms when letting off the gas. It doesn't seem to matter whether it's in gear or not. I thought it was the a/c at first but this video was taken without the a/c on. Maybe an exhaust hanger? U-joint?

I'm also breaking in my new clutch (sound started before this), is revving it up to 4.5k like this going to mess things up? I know I probably shouldn't be asking after the fact.

It's your HFC's. My ART pipes sound exactly the same when decelerating. Just search "exhaust hiss" in this forum.

I'm glad I'm not getting squeak from my HFCs. And also, here is a cold start video that I finally took. I let it idle for a minute, so you can skip to the last 20sec or so for a couple revs.

Thanks for this vid and your review in your other post. I've had my eye on this catback especially for the price. It's obviously a very similar design to the Ark grip catback. You still happy with it so far? Is drone still minimal? Are you familiar with any other catbacks that you can compare it too from a volume perspective? I'm wondering if it's louder than Stillen, Topspeed and others.

I am very happy with the exhaust. As time went on and I got used to having a CBE again, I started liking it more and more. I dont remember if I mentioned previously, but I also have Berks HFCs installed. Sounds is perfect and yet while freeway cruising, it sounds stock.

Haha I have berks with my stock catback at the moment like the sound but want a little more tone and saw invidia is known to give a good tone with stock cats, But didnt think of the difference with Berks got me a bit worried.

Edit: Changed over to Ark Exhaust will actually fit the car without fabrication and sound nice with berks

Apologies for the n00b: are the Top Speed Axle-back exhausts for the coupe still a thing? I've been searching, and I see posts about "OMG only $285" from less than a year ago, but I can't find them anywhere either in stock or near that price.

Can someone point me in the right direction or suggest an axle-back that is comparable in price/quality?

I'm only looking for something slightly louder and more aggressive than stock and to pair up with my autokitsx diffuser.

Thanks for any help!

edit: just noticed this is the sedan exhaust thread. my bad!

^ FYI... You posted this in the *Sedan* exhaust thread, so you may not get an answer here. You might want to repost this in the Coupe section.

*edit* Just noticed that you already noticed you posted this in the sedan section. LOL

Strodda - is your car AWD? I looked on ebay at this exhaust it's not clear to me if this will definitely fit my 2011 G37S. Also, did you buy it on ebay, or through another site? Thanks
