All season floor mats OEM
anyone purchased the oem all season floor mats from infiniti?
thinking about it myself but wanted to ask you guys first how you liked them? any pics? |
I use them year round. Approaching 4 years now. They're still OK, but I keep them relatively clean, even in the winter.
If I had to guess, I'd say they could go another 4 years. |
OEM rubber mats work well for me. had them for 4 years. i use them ~5 months a year. no issues with wear/tearing, or anything else. they are a perfect fit and align well with the positioning hooks.

If the price is similar to Weathertech, go with Weathertech.

I just snagged a set of used ones off ebay for $55. I'll let you know what i think.
My dealership has them for about $110, so $125 is no real bargain |

Good to know. The $125 are used ones. I didn't see any for $55. Good snag!

Bought a set soon after I got my G. They look neat, but I find them to be too slippery - my heels slide all over the place. Took 'em out, needless to say.

I plan on getting a set of these soon as well. Typically, Nissan/Infiniti winter mats are great for trapping snow and ice to save your carpet and they last a long time.
Weathertech are not bad either, especially if you get their floor liners that cover more area. The only problem with those is they are usually pretty flat so if you track in a lot of snow you will soon have water sloshing around quite a bit when it melts. |
Not as concerned with water as i am with road salt fading my black carpets.

Lime-a-way, or CLR. Either one works just fine. Use it every Spring on the areas where things get bad, and you'll be OK. In any event, it's near impossible to keep car carpets pristine when you live in a region that dumps salt on the road. Living in Upstate NY for 50+ years now, and I've seen some pretty nasty salt build-up inside and outside the car. "Say, is that a matte finish?" "No. It snowed yesterday, and I live in NY." |

That's what I was trying to explain. The Weathertech floor liners cover more area, but the water (with salt in it that stains your carpet) will be sloshing around more and potentially hitting more carpet if you have a lot of snow that melts.
