So been a while since I've been on here, but debating on putting my car back to stock, basically removing my swift springs and putting my duckfeet on. I think I am getting old and just want a comfortable reliable daily more so than a sporty feeling car. Also with winter my sport front lip is getting torn up. Thinking of getting 19" coupe wheels to replace my vert rear wheels that I am running all around. I don't think it would look that bad.

Would coupe wheels on an otherwise stock RWD help at all?

I have 19x9.0" offset 30mm and stock ride height on the G37x and I'm quite happy with it. You can see pics here: https://www.myg37.com/forums/brakes-...ml#post3934045

I'm not going back to stock real soon.
I'm new to the G and just getting started.
I like the Eibach ride very much right now. 'Course my garage is filling up with my stock stuff. I guess I'll have it if I want to go back.
However... Sometimes getting out out of the car, I can sometimes feel my age (or is it my weight?) in my knees.

Yeah, I just started to feel old I guess hah. Maybe I should just get the FA500 coilovers and get the dampening dialed in. Just wish there was a definite answer to not having noises in the rear. I also tow my motorcycle with my car so having some adjust ability would help in the rear.

Confused... my experience with Swift springs and OEM shocks is that the ride quality was virtually identical to stock. All they did was lower the car. Do what you want, OP, but I wouldn't blame the springs. And at 51 years old, I wouldn't blame age, either.
These are all subjective opinions, obviously. I've been gradually and intentionally adding NVH to my 6MT since the day I bought it.
As for your idea with CO's... pretty sure all CO's are still lower than stock when spun to their highest setting. FYI.

Yeah I'd like to keep the car lowered if possible, I don't mind the height with the springs, but it seems that the X has significantly less stiff shocks that when paired with the swifts give a decent ride, however the springs might be a bad pairing as the car seems to bottom out and get very bouncy and has an almost unpredictable feel. I have seen a few others mention this as well. Must be an X thing.

I think that's it right there. Only the RWD Sport gets the stiffer OEM shocks. The RWD Journey and AWD have a softer setup. My point being, if the Swifts are a less comfortable ride, it's probably more noticeable with the non-Sport shocks.

Yup, I might go with what another guy did on here, where he used the FA500's with 8k swifts up front and then kept his swift springs in the rear and just used the shock from the c/o's. He hasn't had any kind of noises from what I have seen.
