Another G37x with swift springs installed
Hey guys,
just installed the swifts on my AWD today and took a nice test drive.
These are def. much stiffer than stock and you can feel a lot of bumps etc. Your wife or girlfriend may not approve the ride quality if she isn't into cars but for anyone else it is acceptable.
The ride does will a little bouncy in the rear but maybe after a couple of days the springs will feel better.
Even though the car rides much stiffer I do like it and it appears to handle better than stock. I def. like to little drop look better than stock.
Here are the after pics: I did brighten the photos in photoshop so the wheels and tires show a little better - for anyone who wants to see the gap better.

for anyone interested, the install was very easy.
Just one bolt in the rear and a couple in the front.
Not sure if 2wd is the same but AWD was very easy up front and can def. be done by one person fairly quickly.
To make things much easier make sure to also unbolt and separate the upper control arm.
Drove 30 miles to work this morning, and the like the feel of the car a lot more than stock. Yes, it is stiffer and you really have to be careful riding over bigger bumps and potholes. I am also thinking that the stock strut and shock will wear quicker. But the cost to replace them probably isn't too great.

The AWD Swifts sure seem to do the job perfectly. RWD Swifts, not so much.
Looks spot-on to me, OP. Some people like a zero gap at the top, but I much prefer the look of an even (ish) gap around the curve of the fender, which is what you seem to have accomplished here.

Looks great. More 'planted'. I too have an X sedan and your end-result looks very similar to mine with Eibach springs.
And as you describe it, your ride characteristics are similar to mine as well. The Eibachs mellowed a bit after a couple of hundred miles. I did add sways and F&R camber kits at the same time so that's a variable or two that may create dissimilar experiences going forward.

Interested in an update from y'all who have the springs on your X. I'm not interested in dropping the car a lot but the stock springs seem to let the rear shake a little? Wondering if coil overs is the way to go or if springs could get it done? Mainly going for stiffer feeling in the back is the symptom I'm trying to solve

I just purchased swift springs on Amazon. They should arrive by Tuesday. Also picked up some tsw vale 20's which I plan on throwing on too Given all of this, I'm at about 74k on the odometer. Am I fine to ride with my stock shocks? I saw a post on here of someone with 97k and they are sitting fine, it seems. Or would I be better off going with some Aftermarket monroe shocks
to go along with the swifts?
Since we are Awd sedan, the ever popular konis won't work as far as I can tell. The only other alternative I've read on another thread is to purchase g37s rear shocks. But that just covers the rears and not the fronts.
Thoughts or recommendations? If there's anyone who has a similar setup like this, please provide your feedback.
