Swift springs G37x sedan
What up guys. Just did a swift spring install on my 2013 g37x sedan. I want all you to know that are looking to do this, it's cake. That's if you are somewhat mechanically inclined, have access to air tools, rent the free autozone spring compresser, and a buddy. (Be careful using the spring compresser) It took us an hour and 40 minutes. A lot easier than expected after reading these other installs, don't let it scare you.. Perfect ride height, a little stiffer, no rubbing. If anyone has any questions I'll be happy to help. Tip: (on the front) You CAN take the whole strut out instead of using the spring compressor on the car, after taking the nuts off the strut tower, and the bolt off the bottom control arm, then the bolt off the upper control arm. You can lift up on the upper control arm and down on the rotor to give you more clearance in getting the strut out. Make sure you don't snag the brake line or sensor. On the rear, it's only one bolt per each side. Jack the car up, take the wheel off, put another jack under the spring ,take off the bolt, lower the jack and its out. Hope this helps someone.

Looks good. You said it rides a little stiffer. Other then that how does it ride? I'm thinking about putting swifts on my 2012 g37x bit I drive allot so still need a semi good ride. Thanks..

@ blnewt: Haven't got an alignment done. I hope I don't need camber but I will post my info once it's available. Good to hear back from you brotha, you helped me a lot with some good info.

@ troop12: I drive a lot too man. If you're looking for a conservative drop with a good look, swifts are it. With my research, a lot of people on here have posted having these without needing camber kits. It's a cheap way of going about lowering your G without suffering rubbing and camber kits. I will give you more info after my alignment but every G seems to be different. As far as the ride, it still rides good as the oem. Except the fact that you can feel bumps and stuff a little more but not much... If I can add anything else, it sticks to the road s but better and corners a bit more sticky. Good stuff. I recommend it man, cause I was in the same boat and the Stock AWD height looks whack. Hope this helps. Let me know if you have anymore questions.

Hey thanks man, they are the Verde Axis V99's in bronze. They are 20x9 +38 offset. Tires are 245/35/20 I wanted a square set up so I can rotate.

I live in Utah and drive a canyon everyday even in the winter. I wanted a conservitave drop and Swift is exactly that. I picked up the springs for $140 from a buddy which was a win win. To each his own, not everyone wants to slam their G. I posted this for people who are in the same boat as I was and maybe help them make a better decision.
