Where do you put your cell phone while it's charging?
I've noticed that the G37s don't have the most storage space -- but there really doesn't seem to be a logical place for your phone while charging it. I've just been throwing mine on the passenger seat or in the cup holder, but that's not super convenient if you have a passenger and beverages. Any thoughts or suggestions?

Same, cup holder first, passenger seat second. I rarely have a drink or passenger in my car, even less likely for both, but suppose I'd use the center console. Maybe you can get one of those holsters that stick onto the dash

It's rare that I need to charge while in the car. The latest generation of smart phones really lasts a long time on a charge. My Note 4 also has a rapid charge mode which gives me 50% in a half hour before slowing to minimize heat.
One of my goals with this phone is to charge it as seldomly as possible. I feel that repeated plugging of the charger port will ultimately lead to a failure. I generally let my phone run down to 5 or 10 percent before charging, and I do everything I can to keep it charging until it's full. I rarely will top it off. I too limit myself to the cup holders or passenger seat. I found an 18" usb charging cable which really helps cut down on unneeded cord length. It's tidy. I've had this phone since Thanksgiving and have charged it in the car maybe 5 times. |
I let my iPhone run down to 22 percent before charging, I use the mophie most of the time and I leave it in the cup holder too.

I have a 6 Plus so it's a bit harder to shove the phone somewhere. It usually sits on the passenger seat or I let it sit slanted inside the "ashtray" opening in front of my shifter. It'll stay there until I make a quick turn then it goes flying onto the floor.
Otherwise it sits on my lap as I frequently shuffle through music or Soundcloud. |

Does it scratch the ashtray trim? I stopped doing that after realizing it was scratching my trim -.-
I was looking into the CD Tray mounting option like telcoman has however this large of phone is just obstructive. |
I use a mountek dock

So, how come you run a GPS app in front of the G37 Nav? (Understand that I am new and have yet to even try the Nav....)
I use my iPhone 6 Plus + Google Maps. Google Maps uses Waze inputs and adjusts your route accordingly. Definitely an awesome feature for those of you who do both interstate and city commuting. Waze is just awesome in general. |
Passenger side cup holder. Use one of the shorter USB cables connected into the USB port in the center console. There is even an indent running through the side of the center console for the cable, so when it's closed, it does not pinch the cable. Works well.

70% of the time it's just me in the car. So passenger seat. If that is being used then cup holder. if there is drinks, then the floor.
