2011 G37 compared to 2009 Acura tl
Hey guys I am trading in my 2009 4.8lxdrive Bmw x5 and am looking at a
2011 g37 sedan and a 2011 G37 Used 2011 Infiniti G37 One Owner For Sale in Rocky Mount NC - Moonlight White - NAD2567 - (866) 763-7045 Capital Ford and 2009 Acura TL for sale in Rocky Mount - 19UUA86289A010354 - Davenport Honda The acura has a bigger engine at 3.5l but has 58k miles on it. The upside is the honda dealer is giving a lifetime warranty on the engine and transmission. The G37 looks to be a turned in lease. The G37 is almost out of warranty. Ive owned bmw's and am tired of the expense of maintance down the road. The G37 is 22,700 The TL is 17,900 How is the G down the road far as maintance. Can a toyota dealer do it or will I have to pay out the arse? |
The acura engine is not bigger as we have a 3.7. Also, if performance is any where near the top of your criteria then the G all the way. Better handling dynamics (RWD vs. FWD), faster, and sportier to boot.
If a smooth ride with nice creature comforts is on the top of your list, along with the budget then you'd probably be better off in the acura. Both are pretty darn reliable so that's a wash there but you do seem intrigued by the lifetime engine warranty (never heard of such a thing). Good luck. |

can you get the G with lifetime warranty on engine and tranny? If you can go for the G it has more to offer.
|
The Acura is FWD, with 50 less HP and noticeably slower that the G you're looking at. Plus, it has that dumb shield on the front end that looked outdated the moment it was released.
You've not said what it is you want in a car, but if you're asking people on a G forum which one they'd pick... :coolio: Srsly The TL SH-AWD, now that's an Acura worth considering. |
I just wanted to reiterate what was already pointed out.
The G37 has a larger (not smaller) engine and is rear wheel drive. It's a sports car. The Acura is a nice car that's sporty, but it's not a sports car. Decide which of these platforms most appeals to you. |

It's a fine mid-sized sedan. But... wait, you fished me in, didn't you? LOL

A Journey sedan is most definitely not a sports car.

You're a tease, LOL. 4DSC is just a marketing campaign.
The G is just as much not-a-sportscar as the Maxima is. |

Don't argue with the sticker :) |
Both come with a granny approved slush box. Hmm, my mom might like it.

I wouldn't argue about sport sedan moniker, especially in S (or SH-AWD configuration) but a sports car....nope. |
