ARK HFC's - Too Short??
 

So I was having ARK HFC's installed last night (with existing ARK Grip Exhaust) which ended up turning into a real big mess considering I had no clue they were NOT meant to go on a 7AT (partly my fault for not doing enough research but I was unable to find that on ARKs website nor the vendor from where I bought the pipes). HOWEVER, the only fitment issue that I am aware of is that extra chamber that ARK uses hitting the crank case as you can see in the photo. But what we ended up noticing is that the ARK cat was shorter than the stock cat... which makes absolutely no sense to me considering 7AT and 6MT cats on these cars are all the same size. So in theory, these still should have fit... just with some serious rattle on the right side. Has anyone run into this before? You can see how much the mufflers got sucked in towards the front of the car... the bumper would have melted. :eek:

Yeah its just one of those things where you are standing around the damn thing scratching your head. Talked to Kevin at ARK again today and he said they are "looking into it". So we shall see I guess.

Weird...but interested in the sound on the combined setup :)
