I have a very low number veteran plate, so I'm sticking with that. Otherwise I'd have HABU.

..... I've been looking at viking/metal fonts this AM to make a NightFury label. I have a basic vinyl cutter lol. Right now *she's* toothless - lost 3 of the 4 fronts.

ORLY? I should make note of that. I've got two decal projects on the back burner that I'd like to pursue sometime this summer.

Hahaha. How cute. Maybe you should add some 12K HID bulbs to give you headlights that purple glow!

Today marks four years of owning my G. Really has been good to me overall. Probably another year with it before moving on.

So had a chance to drive on a closed, non-public road. At about 100mph and continuing up to 130 (limited by road length) something violently flaps on the bottom of the car. I don't see anything loose down there - the under-engine shield is bolted everywhere, the rear aero pan is bolted in too. Any ideas?

Is it flapping like something thin? If not I was thinking maybe an exhaust hanger came off or the plastic lining in the wheel well.

Doubt it is exhaust hanger - oem exhaust, all hangers and bolts are solid.

Wheel well might be it for sure. All the pop-rivets that have the raised sections (or conversely, the cross-shaped recesses) are brittle if not actually broken.

Factory cats or aftermarket? The heat shrouds on the stock ones could be noisy.

Factory (for now). This was more of a flexible flapping not a metallic rattle. Wheel well liner describes it well - I'll check those this weekend.

Stopped in just to say hello Hope everyone is good, just a quick update. Never bought a replacement for the G as I now have a company car. Did a few things with the RS and it’s holding me off for now. Take care

Washed the car today, found that my rear quarter is starting to rust. Winters have been rough.

How many times a day do you drive by a deer on the side of the road, just standing there watching traffic?

I swear at least once a day here in Western NY. Been like that all my life, and still freaks me out. My wife hit a deer when she was younger. My mom hit a deer when I was a kid. Most everyone I know has a deer vs. car story. I've had a few close calls myself, but never actually made contact.

I suppose having deer roam around is better than moose, or gators. Not by much, though.
