That looks like 5% front windshield tint which is pretty dark. I have my front windshield tinted 87% with a clear film. I've seen a few cars with windshield tint even though it's considered illegal here in Texas.

Went to Advanced auto to buy front rotors and akebono pads for my 6mt. The guy behind the counter was in his 50s and asked me what car is it for because he was impressed with their size and I ordered online so he doesn’t know. I told him G37 sport. He opened up the akebono pads box just to check them out.

I think he also offered to carry one of the rotors out for me just to see my car. I was driving the minivan though and explained that I didn’t want to heat up my brakes before changing them. He said that’s a great idea, reallly nice fellow.

Now that I have new tires and brakes. I think the bearing is the only noise remaining in the front. I feel closer to perfection, lol...

Like Rochester, I also turn back to look at my car at least once everytime. Sometimes I stop myself from turning around twice to stop embarrassing myself in front of my colleagues in the garage but sometimes I don’t care.

p.s. I’m 41...
p.p.s. This is the only car out of all the cars that I’ve owned since my 93 mr2 that I am prepping to hand wash and wax. It must mean something...

I was in my 40’s before I learned about clay bar. For that matter, it was around that time that I came to appreciate microfiber towels. Seems almost silly to say that out loud, but if this is something new to you, now is the time to step up.

Thanks. I do know about claybars but appreciate the advice.
