IDK about the Crosstrek, but the drain in the Forester is at kind of an angle, and the oil comes out of it pretty fierce at that same angle. For some reason, it drains more forcefully compared to the Infiniti. So good luck lining up your catch pan. And good luck not splashing it all over the place. The first time I changed the oil in this car I made a mess. So I bought a larger, deeper catch can, and a fitted splash mat at the bottom. It made oil changes so-o-o much better.
Got so inspired today to work in the garage that I'm in the middle of putting my winter wheels on the car. My back is going to kill me tomorrow.

Chat chat chat...
The last time I modded the car in any significant way was Spring 2017, when I had new rear gears installed. There have been a bunch of things since then, but mostly just cosmetic stuff, repairs and maintenance.
So yesterday morning, when I ordered a pair of Z1 Motorsports Polyurethane Motor Mounts on a Black Friday sale, I genuinely for-real got excited to mod my car again. You guys know what I'm talking about, that feeling where you're about to change the car in some way that affects the performance of the vehicle; whether it's a handling mod, a driving mod, a power mod, whatever. Something that *changes* the car in a way that (you hope) makes it more fun to drive.
Anyway, that happened. Psyched!

What's up everyone?
Hope everyone has been well. It's been a long time since I logged on and posted or commented on anything on this forum. I probably follow a bunch of you on IG so I still kind of keep in touch with some of you.
I still have my G37 but I just upgraded to something totally different.
I am now the proud owner of a 2018 Alfa Romeo Giulia Quadrifoglio sedan. Yup still part of the sedan gang family. I'm still not sure what I'm going to do with the G37 except maybe alternate driving between that and the Giulia.
I might put her back to stock and if I do, most of you know all rare goodies I have for her, I'll let you guys know what I'll be selling or trading.
I forgot how to load pictures on here lol so as soon as I remember I'll post some pics of the new whip.
Glad to see that this sedan chat thread is still going strong.

That's a pretty amazing sport sedan, Zoster. You must be feeling pretty special every time you get in it. I test drove the Stelvio a couple months ago, and fell in love with the... IDK what to call it, the Italian-ness of the Alfa Romeo. I also got the impression that Alfa was struggling for sales, so did you get a good deal? How about a nice long warranty? From what I've read, you're going to want that extended warranty.

I know about the problems Alfa has had in the past but the Quadrifoglio is a different beast all together but yes, I did negotiate pricing for the maintenance package and the extended warranty just incase LOL
I'll upload pics later today from my office. Have a great day guys see you all in a little while.

Opinions on the Giulia and Stelvio are so polarized. Originally, I couldn't stand how they look, and this year my opinion has flipped 180°. I think they're gorgeous.
Love those clover spoked wheels.

Those def are some nice forged wheels but none of the 2018 models they had in stock did not have those wheels

That's a helluva picture, Zoster. Wow.
Wait, I remember you! California guy who was really proud of his forged wheels. I think I bought a ztoyz thingy from you once.

That's why I said it's been a long time. Several years at least.
I got busy with the family and car shows and what not but I've since stopped doing much to the G37 and stopped doing car show.
Focusing more on the family and work has us super busy.

The G37 has been really good to me. No major mechanical problems except for things that wear down over time.
She has 115K miles on it. I'll keep it as a back up, alternate between cars during the week.

So for those that have kids and have a sedan, how well did the G37 work for you in terms of space for car seats and storing baby things like strollers and etc.
