Like the idea, and a cool name for sure, might get lost on most of the population, but easy to google as you drive if that's your thing

I knew it!

What happens is you develop a sense for these things when you've teenage girls in the house.

That, and ask me a K-Pop question. No wait, don't.

had the wonderful mission yesterday to figure out why my car alarm kept going off...thanks to this forum i just yanked the alarm fuse in my battery. I have a feeling it has something to do with the newly installed battery and sensors because my auto windows had to be reset. Once i did that, the alarm acted up...anyone have any insight into this? i.e. how much it will cost to fix depending on what the problem is...

What is the ideal tire size on a 9.5" wheel? 265? 275? I think 265 would still have strech but not sure.... 275 might rub also.

Geez, if you'd look in the tire and wheel forum, you would know. Sorry, this is a really lazy question.

Lol, I know. Anyways I googled it right after posting that question. Looks like 265 will still have strech.... dunno about the 275s rubbing though.

I've got 245s & 285s on my 9.5 wheels, Think 275s would be the sweet spot there, especially since 265s aren't as common in all tire brands/models.

The rubbing part depends on a lot of factors.... I run 285 but like B said 275 fit the rim perfectly

Well, I think the front will be fine since the entire wheel is still under the fender, but im worried about the rear. See these pics:

The edge of the rim is pretty much flush with the fender it looks like. No rubbing at all with these 245s, but I don't like the stretch look either.

^^^What offsets are you running there iC? If those are 9.5 +35 you can run a 275, as long as the tires don't run exceptionally wide. My 9.5 +38 on 285s just barely tucks in, but I'm at minimal -1.0 camber. I'm running Continental Extreme Contact DW back there.

From the looks of it you'll have the 15mm extra there to run 275s in back. I don't think I'd run wider than 255s in front just because of that fender edge not being rolled like the rear.

I actually dont know the offsets, its 93owners old wheels. I'll have to check that.
Can i even do 275 in the back with 255 in the front on AWD? I don't think so.. maybe i should just do the 265 square or 255 square, good point about the front fender edge not being rolled though, ill have to check that clearance as well.

Yea I run 285 on my 9.5 +38 rear also... you should look at a square set up for the AWD just because you want the same diameter. A stretched rear won’t be quite the same diameter but it’ll be close.

Edit: there are a couple people on here that stagger their AWD, and square is less important if your rims aren’t (can’t rotate easily). You just need to really focus on diameter.

With AWD I would just go ahead and run 255s all around, you can then do a true four tire rotation for better tire life and have the same mount on all the wheels.

Yeah, i would prefer square. You dont think 265 square will fit though? Im just thinking that 255 will still be too stretched but I dont really know.
