What about going emblemless rather than mesh? that DIY on the site is pretty good if you don't mind getting dirty

^thanks for the tip BL, but trying to stick with the mesh style grill.
I live in a place with no indoor work area, and outside is iffy because I have nosy/picky neighbors (popping the hood raises eyebrows). Considered getting a dremel myself and working on the grill outside a little at a time, but I think the project might be a little beyond my skill level (cutting and smoothing edges that are straight and even).

Total noob question (and yes I am aware of the search feature), but the thing I am finding most confusing so far with my first foray into the Infiniti world is all of the different trim levels. How can I definitively tell what I have exactly? I own an 09 G37 seems to be totally loaded (sunroof, Homelink, memory seats, Cf slot, etc) but 17" rims. The title says Journey/Sport. I'm not sure that it is actually a sport.

Welcome to the site, you have a Journey w/ premium pkg.
If you have a red S on your trunk and big silver brakes (labeled w/ black Infiniti on them), paddle shifters, thigh bolstered seats and LSD rear end then you would have an S pkg.
Not sure why your title would say Sport, but it is considered a Sport sedan so ???

CF slot, hahaha. Always thought that was one of the more unique things Infiniti did 10 years ago.
vannatte, clues to the RWD Sport package: staggered 18" wheels, big brakes, huge rotors, extended side sills, different front bumper (even in '09), close ratio steering, sport-tuned dampers and limited slip. Granted, those last few are things you'd only know driving the two cars side-by-side, but there it is.

I have an issue of my own I wanted to throw out here for some input, within the past 2 weeks my access button on driver's side door is working intermittently at best. What gives? I know some of y'all have had to have dealt with this issue.

You can decode your VIN to see the exact model name. https://www.vindecoderz.com/EN/Infiniti
Post a pic of your center console, that can tell us all of the options your car has in terms of packages. Just by looking at the button layout under the map screen you can tell what package the car has. Front bumper and wheel/brake combo will tell if its a sport or not. The 17" rims are a dead giveaway that its not a sport model. Even the XS comes with 18" wheels despite the BBK on that car being generic poop instead of Akebono. Do you have a snow mode between the two dials that control the heated seats?
Based on the things you did mention, it seems like its a RWD non sport sedan.

Do you guys disconnect your ABS module when bleeding your brakes? The manual says so but I have never done it in any of my other cars so not sure.

Installed! I like em. I also installed new SPC front arms and I stripped the Bolt the pinches the upper Ball Joint. I did not seat it fully and end up hammering the bolt in hence stripping it. Does Infiniti sell this bolt or should I go to Nissan and get one form a 370z?
