New Sedan 6MT member on the forum... going to meet up with "SomeName" tomorrow morning. I've found there's a narrow set of similar automotive values for people who intentionally buy a Sport Sedan with a manual transmission. So, could be interesting.

Can those of us who wanted to buy them 6MT but couldn't wait the three months required for a special order join the discussion?

Be careful. And by that, I mean don't lose your kidneys or anything

Why couldn't you wait 3 months or have your dealer locate one if its what you really wanted

Haven't bought used since 1982. Dealer found ONE 6mt sedan on a lot in Alabama but it was black and a special order. I didn't have the salesman check the northern half of the U.S.

The G was an impulse buy in August of one of our hottest summers ever. I hated driving the Miata with the A/C running. Had to get into something with enough torque to not fall flat when the compressor kicked in. I'm afraid of BMW reliability and the Mazda 6 V-6 only came with an auto. A pointless distinction now...

Asking a dealership to find you a 6MT Sedan is a rope-a-dope. And CPO is a scam. Unless you happen to be in the right place at the right time, it's something you have to do for yourself.

Don't sweat it, man. The Journey Sport is an awesome car. We're just ranking on you because it's fun.

Finding a RWD G in NJ is hard enough!

I enjoy the repartee as it allows me to display my gargantuan intellect.

I'll take a picture of it next time I'm there and have another phone for photos. That's what I have, or something very similar. I don't care for it because it blocks everything on the dash and looks clunky. I also live in Chicago, in the city, and I generally don't leave anything in my car that looks removable.
I had a mazda3sGT prior to this and I had stash pockets all over the interior. I am just used to having a place to put it.

Thanks everyone for the input!

I was going through some of the car videos I like on Youtube, thought I'd share a video that I have saved as a 'favorite'.... it was taken last year from someone at one of the Cars & Coffee outings in Cali...

Just goes to show that NOT everyone should be buying sport cars....LOL! enjoy.

When the VDC is off on my 2011 G37 S, it is FULLY off: no traction control, no stability control, just ABS.

Is this different for different years or coupe/sedan?
