Thank you sir.

If I keep the grill then I'll probably go blue on the Mt Fuji to match the calipers when I get them done. I do like the thought of going logo-less but before I decide I also need to decide what I'm going to do with the front end. Though maybe it's better if I don't decide so I stay in a holding pattern.

Till then.... I'll just do my best to keep up with the 6MT crowd.... Maybe I'll just go visit newt!

It's a little deeper with a bit of a nice hum. This is with windows up, no music around 80 mph.

At first, I had to listen for it because it wasn't broken in yet. Needed at least 500 miles. Once you have it installed, shift around 4.5k between 4th and 5th gear and you'll hear it or cruise at 80 mph in 5th gear. It opens up as you put more mileage on the HFC.

To be honest, being a first time modder and all, it was a bit below par from what I was expecting in terms of sound but at the same time I was glad that it wasn't blaringly loud and no rasp. It has a nice hum to it if you're on the OEM exhaust and intakes. I was glad that this was my first mod.

Hope that helps.

hmm now You gave me an idea I also have planned to get my calipers done in like lambo orange or something like that, this is an interesting idea, might look into getting the Mt Fuji painted the same color once I get the calipers done too haha just to contrast the graphite shadow unless there is a better color to contrast with the graphite shadow then I'll have to re-consider since I haven't given this idea much thought

Lol, another thread in the win column.
I'm bummin a bit since there's like only a couple modded Gs in our area and never really see them around. Must be nice to be in a place where you can meet up, compare mods hands-on and get a much better feel for certain looks. Not to mention a bit of G camaraderie, oh well, at least we got the forum, especially for those of us that are living in "Auto-Siberia

I went with Kinetix hfc's on my sedan. I have very little rasp only before the exhaust system heats up then all you hear is my baby growling
I don't think you'll go wrong with any of them. I believe ARK had some resonated hfc's as well so it will all boil down to how much money you want to dish out for them.

When I took my car home from the dealership they only gave it to me with 1/4 of a tank. I went and filled it up no prob. The last 3 times I've tried filling it up now, its only taken 1-5 gallons of gas before the nozzle clicks off and refuses to fill anymore on its own. What gives?

Edit - Nvm, just had this really novel idea and googled it. Pretty common problem it seems.

I also have the Kinetix HFCs with a megan racing Y pipe and Top speed exhaust. So far no rasp and perfect sound for my liking. All I need are intakes and then I will do an UpRev tune. Modding is fun.

Post up a sound clip if you can, I'd like to hear what those HFCs would sound like w/ my TopSpeed.

A good deal? No, not particularly, from the quick googling I did on those.

Can you post up some of those websites you looked through? I know ebay has just the rims for $999. Other wheel competitors have the rims at around $275 a piece.

Did you check w/ Charles @ B2Autodesigns? He's got the wheels for $1099, you might shoot him a PM, he gives us nice deals when you go through this site, if nothing else you might get better tires in the deal. Always liked those wheels!

All the tires show up as $0. Is that a typo on that site?

It's best to shoot Charles a PM, he's real good about quick replies, just mention the wheels & tire sizes you need and ask for quotes for summer tires, All Seasons, whatever you're wanting.
Here's his PM link
