I'll be testing out the unsprung weight theory on the track soon. I switched to lighter wheels and tires.
Not sure what the OEM 18s weighted, but my new fronts are 16.5 lbs and my rears 17.6 lbs.
From the OEM Bridgestone to the Michelin PSS, i saved 3lbs up front and 2lbs in rear and I also went wider (245 and 275). So, more grip and significantly less weight.

A quarter past stripped
Quick question ya'll. Not getting into the plus or minus of brands, what will an aftermarket Y-pipe or resonators do in terms of exhaust tone and volume? I'm thinking about a Y-pipe but not sure if it's really worth it considering my other exhaust parts. What about new resonators? (midpipes) Pro's and con's for both or one or another? Any ideas?

Kinetix HFC's
OEM Y-pipe
OEM mid-pipes

Spacers, installed.
Special thanks go out to Mrs. Lego_Maniac for tearing herself away from the Patriots game while the kids were napping to push in the brake pedal while I torqued down the front adapters
I got about 15 miles on them, including 70-75 on the expressway. Zero vibration.
The car looks fuc*ing great
but....but I'm going to join AroundTheG37 and say I'm disappointed in the uneven drop of the Swift springs.

I had my coils installed a couple weeks ago and they're dialed in so the car is perfectly level. Which is resulting in just about a zero gap in the front and a negative gap in the rear. To me it looks visually uneven but I know its spot on. not sure if that's te same thing you're experiencing? The drop for the X I thought was perfect on Swifts.

Wow, that looks aweful. Those things must weigh > 50lbs a piece. It looks like a real life version of some matchbox car with over sized wheels. Not a fan. At all.
Makes stealing the cats a relatively easy proposition. That happened to a guy I work with a few weeks back in his completely stock Honda Element. Thief sawed them out apparently.

Regardless of how it looks, the Konis and Swifts and Eibach Sways and Pilot Super Sports really transformed the cars handling. I'm not going to get caught up on the "perfect" stance.

Nothing. The car sat lower in the rear before the springs too. In hindsight, I should have more seriously considered Eibach springs
