Well, while it's back to life, i'll add to it. I just swapped mine out last weekend. Had 108k miles on them.
It was a bitch to find new ones though, the denso's seem to be back ordered most places within a hour drive of me.

Listen friendly advice, these engines are high compression engines, best to use on, here's why there's a reason they call for high octane because a miss fire can and does cause detonation. Just because a plug says that it fits doesn't necessarily mean it's the right one these plugs have heat ranges and it's important to use the correct heat range otherwise you can end up with knocking misfires poor fuel economy detonation or at the very least loss of power!!!!!again high compression less room to play with, example with a wrong plug if you put lower octane gas in and happen to really slam on the throttle with the wrong plug you could be looking at disaster use the right plug have the Peace of Mind a few extra bucks for the right plug to me is worth a piece of mind versus what it could be

I just replaced mine last week, 97K on my G. I went on Denso's site and looking at the compatibility chart for the VQ35HR, apparently they have a new plug technology called twin-tip, with thinner electrodes. I bought those and so far can't really tell any difference.

Yes, it's a second gen like the G37 though.

They've been great. Put about 12K miles on them so far. I used to sometimes experience a misfire when I planted the gas on the freeway (I need to get a tune..), I feel like it's been happening less now.

Yeah, mine is likely because the A/F ratio is slightly off because I have full bolt ons (minus headers) and haven't tuned yet.

BEWARE! A LOT OF KNOCK-OFF FAKE COUNTERFEIT SPARK PLUGS ARE SOLD ON AMAZON AND EBAY.
I know cases where this spark plugs failed after couple of thousand miles. It can potentially damage engine, but I dont know such cases.

If you see some cheap spark plugs on ebay 6pcs for $30 - this is fake.
Good quality parts cost money, dont cheap out.
