Contacted Top Speed, they have rolls oem style tips in stock, also assured that fitment is similar to stock exhaust. A little more research but for the price top speed is now at the top of my short list.

im mostly interested in sound i wanted to test my theory on if i got a higher flowing mid pipe it would give me similar sound to the coupe but unforutnatley most these companies refuse to sell midpipe by itself.

For the price of the TopSpeed you could buy the exhaust and modify the tips to exactly what you prefer and still be in budget.

Judging from the pic, the exhaust tips looks they should be more flushed with the rear bumper.
Is it sitting any lower than stock...any issues with clearance?
Yes the exhaust tips are not as flush with the rear bumper as the OEMs were, which I was a bit bummed about. The cans were placed properly on the hangers so that's how it should be I don't have any clearance or rubbing issues.

The tip OD is 4" and is about 7/8" below the rear bumper

Yes just like blnewt said, it's one piece from factory, but can be modified.

Well I guess on my end something went wrong with installation or exhaust because it's not identical fitment as the OEM

Audi refused to extend the warranty on a friend's RS6 a few years ago (which he had purchased new with all maintenance performed by the dealer), so he dumped it just like you. This is why last month I chose a 2010 G37xS over a 2007 RS4.

The original system was advertised as having "115mm Rolled Edge Tips." 115 mm = 4.5 in
The current system is advertised as having "102mm Bevel Edge Tips." 102 mm = 4.0 in
The stock oval tips are 4 in wide by 3 in tall and are 2 in inside the bumper cutouts.

It sure would be interesting to see a comparison of muffler internals!

Your fitment is fine, it's just your tips are smaller so there's more resulting gap. My tips do indeed measure 4 7/16" OD and my gap from bumper recess to tip is 3/8", so the actual exhaust fitment looks to be the same, (in other words, all your pipes, flanges, exhaust cans are hanging the same as mine).

Topspeed should have accounted for that and placed the tips 1/4" higher on the cans. Well the most important part was the sound, and it's great so I can live with the fitment difference

The fitment is what's holding me back, if it can be modified by a muffler shop I might take a chance on it.

what i hate about these aftermarket exhaust is by the way they look i drive behind a couple of modded g sedans with exhaust i noticed the canister saggs. I would probably end up painting it some sort of flat black.

I like the black paint, did you modify your hangers? Any side shots? Could you provide a description of the sound?

I followed Soundmikes' advice and went with Rustoleum High Temp Paint in BBQ black, here's a little DIY thread about it~

Here's a couple pics of his G that he painted w/ the same paint~
