G37S 6MT Sedan with Rear Vents??

The G37S 6MT doesn't leave much to be desired for in comparison with the trims. If there was a list of missing features, it would definitely have to be the lack of rear vents.

For those of us who have searched, the rationale is the e-brake location not allowing for space to place the piping.

Well I've stumbled upon the installation instructions for the Sport LED DRLs:
https://www.infiniti-techinfo.com/as...1/T/K/1TK3.PDF

If we take a look at page 8, Figure 25, an interesting figure and label is seen:
6MT Models only with rear ventilator grille

Does such a model exist in any other markets? It's hard to believe that the existence of such a part has not already been revealed or posted about, but somehow this is mentioned in official Infiniti documentation...

Is there any hope??

Aren't their vents under the seats?

Yes, heater vents are under the rear seats. Totally looking for A/C vents though

Possibly a very very bad misprint. More likely a missed correction when Nissan decided to have no rear vents.

Still hoping that they exist in some market somewhere that we don't yet know about though

No offense, but this strikes me as a trivial complaint. The AC system has plenty of capacity to cool the whole cabin.

Was recently reminded that the 6MT sedan does not do the automatic steering wheel thing like the 7AT does, wonder why this feature was skipped, no obvious reason to me...

^^How do you mean? There's a setting in the setting/convenience about moving the steering wheel and/or seat when entering/exiting the vehicle.

^Checked, this option is not showing up in my menu under Comfort Settings. Care to share the path in the menus you follow in case I'm overlooking something???

If you have it I don't that would be strange

AFAIK, I don't have it. Freaked me out the first few times I got into an AT G37 and this happened. Felt like Batman in the Tumbler. Fun little nice to have, but this came up a few times on the forum over the years, and pretty sure it's not available in the 6MT. Don't know why. Be happy to be wrong, though.

Same here, checked this morning and its not available. Maybe this is like the music box and was a midyear change?

I think the music box delete was a combination of a licensing issue with Gracenote (think I read that somewhere), as well as a dwindling relevance due to the ubiquitous state of portable music. I actually like having the Music Box feature, and have it pretty much filled to capacity.

I feel you, though, Lego. It's a lot more fun to discover something new about your car than it is to find out it's not actually there.
