New G37's arriving daily

I guess no big news here since Infiniti has announced the G37 will continue at this point, but I saw a car hauler yesterday with about a dozen new G37's and not a Q50 in the lot.

I'm thinking the 2014's might be available with a low starting purchase point with the new leatherette introduced on the base Q50 etc - if it's as nice as the MB Tex I'm fine with it. As I'm a STFU and drive guy and love the refinements on the G37 when I drove them as loaners for my G35, I'm hoping to upgrade next year. With the same powertrain and my lack of interest in the bells and whistles on the Q50, I'm hoping I'm right about this.

Might be a good time right now, interested to hear the difference in actual out the door pricing when comparing the two.

It's a good time to buy 12,11 model years with low miles as well.

Yep, Infiniti will sell the G and Q at the same time for the 2014 model year. Kinda strange in my opinion. My dealership said that they're being instructed to sell the Q as a model between the G and M; which kind of works, but I don't really see the point.

The only advantage to this, is that you can still buy a new Infiniti with a 6MT in 2014, but it'll be a G and not a Q.

I thought I read they'd be base Gs only, so no 6MT if that's the case :(

That was my understanding as well. The 6MT ship has sailed.

So... find a 2013, or buy a BMW.

Same here.. I think whatever 37s are on the lot or in the pipeline. No more off the production line.

I was definitely preemptive when I spoke. Here's a Jalopnik article that confirms what everyone else has said.

- G37 is staying to 2015, but only the 7AT.
- only options are premium and nav
- NO MORE 6MT

Sorry guys.

So you can get a Journey with sport package? I'm guessing no.

Nope. No more sport package. You want sport, gotta go Q50.
