2010+ Non-sport to sport front bumper conversion?

Hey guys, does anyone know exactly which parts I would need to purchase in order to swap out my 2011 non-sport sedan front bumper to a sport one?

I've searched the forums and came up with one thread (https://www.myg37.com/forums/g37-sed...-question.html), but it wasn't clear on all the parts I needed for a 2011 as it was a thread about converting an 07 bumper.

I know I need the 1) sport bumper and 2) foglight panel? (the black surrounding the fogs), but what else? Thanks in advance!

The bumper cover, the fog light panels and new clips just in case are it from what I have come to understand through my research.

Now, if only the bumpers came painted, that would be a painless conversion.

Good luck

Does it come painted? The front lips do.. Why not bumpers?

What are the costs involved for each and in sum total so others can know.

Thanks! It would definitely be nice if the bumpers came factory painted. I hope this is all I really need.

Unfortunately it doesn't come painted, at least online it doesn't. And yeah I'd like to know the total cost as well. I'm thinking 3-400 + cost of paint/labor.

booo.

I can get into an X sedan a lot easier than finding an X sport. Still want the looks though.

Here's the part sheet, the 2nd item is the sport bumper cover and item 16 is the fog piece (a L&R)
So 239.60 for the cover and 2x 14.92 for the fog pieces.
Might be better to go through the dealer though as they might absorb most of the shipping (the shipping can be almost as high as the price of the bumper )
You probably also need the tow hook window cover

Wow, I just tried entering those items in my cart and at first it said $28 for shipping but then I noticed the shipping option didnt include bumpers, so I had to change the shipping method and it bumped it all the way up to $477!!! That's ridiculous... I'm not paying more for shipping than my items...

Guess it´s better to go with your local dealer, as Blnewt said.
I got a price of usd 380, and supposed to have everything needed.
Any way i am about to verify this in detail. Keep you posted.

Yes, please keep me updated, Templos! I am really considering this instead of buying a non sport front chin spoiler. It just depends how much more it'll cost.

I have an 09 g37x and looking to see if I can change to an 11+ Sport bumper. Is it possible to do this and will there be anything else I have to do? I heard it's an easy process just the front bumper needed.

nope, your headlights are different, so you would need headlights for a 2010+ and new windshield washer tank, grill, among other stuff

Amoreno: I did that conversion a few weeks ago. You need:

The bumper cover 300 +/-
Paint for the bumper 300-450
Grille - 200 +/- new
Windshield washer tank 150 +/-
Headlights +/- 1500 new, 600 - 1000 used
Fog lights - 100 aftermarket
Lower center grille - 100
Left and right grilles - 60 +/-
Fog light finishers - 30
Styrofoam energy absorber +/- 80
Optional sport lip - 250 - 350 depending on color
Leds for iron man (may as well since you have the lights out!) 60
Can of dip for the grille - $6

Install is a cakewalk, took me about 3 hours including wiring a new hid kit for the fogs and switchbacks.

So how much was the total you wasted on doing this? I'm looking to do this in like December so I can start ordering all the parts I need.
