I think most of your pics came out pretty well, although I don't really have that 'eye' that photographers have. I wish I did though!

Thanks!
I just visualize the picture before I take it...just comes naturally to me.
Not sure if I have the "eye" either.

This set is beautiful! You should really post some of your work on this Flickr group: Flickr: Infiniti G37

Are you absolutely certain it's shiny enough?

Excellent photos. I wish I could predetermine the angles in my minds eye the way you do.
If you take a quick look at the photos in my garage you will quickly see that I don't have a talent for photographing cars.

There's nothing wrong with your pics...you just need to shoot a bit lower at your G's height.
Take your time to focus.
The angle which you are taking the picture makes a huge difference!

Thanks for sharing your Garage photos.

99% of people with a camera in their hands will take a picture from eye-height. If you want your subject to stand out, you need to see it in a way that uniquely focuses on that subject... and the easiest way to do that is to capture the shot at a non-traditional perspective. That's why I love the swivel LCD lens on my (now ancient) Canon. It let's me hold the camera high or low, while still framing the shot.

Here's an easy trick. You want to use your point-n-shoot to take awesome pictures of your car? Sit in a lawn chair.

I crouch for most shots which is just further proof that there's more to it than just getting low. I use an 8MP Canon Rebel XT which I've had for about 8 years. Great little Camera that is far more capable than I. However, in the hands of my teenage daughter the Canon Rebel rocks. If not for privacy issues I would share her facebook photography page.

You've got quite an eye--those are some great pics, dragion.

Sit in a lawn chair you say? I can definitely do that .
