Black grille for sedan?

Hello,

Was wondering if anyone knows a quality place to purchase a black grille for my G37x sedan. I've looked numerous places and I just can't seem to find one for sedan only coupe.

Any help is greatly appreciated! Thanks

They have the OEM midnight grills available at any source that sells genuine Infiniti parts, here's one on Ebay from Beshoff Infiniti

Thank you, I'll shop around for a better price. From everything I've researched on that specific item a more reasonable price is around $300. I could be mistaking, won't hurt to look though.

On a side note, is installation fairly easy? Seems like it.

There's a how-to in the stickies somewhere.

Yes, it's easy. A handful of clips, nuts and bolts, and the grille slips right out. 20 minutes the first time, as you figure things out. 2 minutes every time after that. Easy peasy.

Like I mentioned, you could probably get yours vinyl wrapped for the same look for about $100, and if you don't like it just peel it off.

Went to a local shop today, was extremely displeased with the $200 dollar quote for wrapping the grille. I'll probably man up and paint it myself.

Has anyone tried painting their grille? If so, can you share any tip and or tricks? I want to do a full gloss not flat.

Take it off to paint it which is easy to do. Then the usual paint prep steps are necessary...I.e. super fine grit sand paper to create a better bonding surface, clean the surface, primer, paint then clear.

It's really not that hard to wrap yourself, this is the results of following blnewt's guide and my very first use of vinyl ever:

I'm still on the hunt for the appropriate vinyl wrap quote. Ill let you know if I find something! In the mean time I'm watching videos on wrapping it myself, honestly it seems like a joke.
