Question for owners with OEM rear decklid spoiler.

I installed the OEM rear decklid spoiler. This is the same spoiler that comes on the limited edition model. For those of you sedan owners with the OEM spoiler have you noticed some small indentation marks from the mounting bracket that goes under the spoiler and mounts to the trunk lid? I had never noticed it until today when I was looking at my spoiler in direct sunlight. Is this normal?

Is this the spoiler you're talking about? I haven't noticed any indentations, is it possible you've got it too tight?

Is it possible to post some close up pictures of the indentations?

I have the OEM rear lip spoiler and I don't see any on mine.

Yes this is the spoiler. Maybe I overtightened the bolts. I'm going to take some close up pictures tomorrow.

Doesn't take too much force to over tighten them to the point of cracking the plastic around the nut, just a good even snug, but not overly so. When I installed mine I snugged the inside first and worked my way out, then went and repeated the order a bit tighter, and once again just to make sure it was evenly tightened throughout the spoiler. I didn't use the outside holes that must be drilled outside the oem chrome lip area, still as tight as day 1
Did that in case the spoiler got damaged, or ever decided to go back to the original lip (which will never happen, lol)

Mine appears to be fine as well. If over tightening indented it, you may just want to leave it so it doesn't do any more damage. I would imagine its possible that it came that way as well. Inquire with who you purchased it from and see if they will swap it out. That's if it's bothering you.

The trunk-mounted, duckbill rear spoiler is just an option... it's not an exclusive LE thing.

Mine was factory installed, and I've no indentations.
