So I had a grounding kit installed...
There certainly is a difference in shifts now (auto), it behaves much better and keeps the RPMs at 1K when cruising which is good for gas. But now when I press on "status" to check out my avg mpg and how much left until empty it says ~215 miles on slightly more than half tank. On the other hand prior to the kit being installed it said about 110-130 miles left until empty. I already tried resetting the Fuel Economy history, same story. So I'm just wondering did it really improve fuel economy that much or is that just a mis-reading? Keep in mind I do mainly city driving with avg mpg of about 13.1.

Yes would also like to hear more about your experience. How long you been driving with the grounding kit? Read mostly good stuff about this grounding kit. I am willing to trying anything to get rid of this lag.

I've had it for one day so far. When using paddle shifters there is less delay between shifts, for example prior to the grounding kit it would lets say take .8 seconds to shift gears after I upshift in manual mode. Now it seems like it has dropped down to .4 is shift delay. (these figures do not represent actual time between shifts, just using it as an example.) When in just Drive, the car behaves very well in terms of lag when suddenly stepping on the gas. Also when cruising it does a much better job at keeping RPMs down in order not to waste as much gas. Whereas before the kit it would hover up to 2,300 RPM before shifting to higher gear. So now I usually tend to cruise in the city at just 1,000-1,300 RPM instead of 1,900-2,000 RPM. Then again it all depends on the speed your going, etc. but to put it in short it keeps RPMs low when cruising in order to save gas. During acceleration shifts are quicker, and smoother. As for other changes I've noticed I think just overall the electronics such as button lighting, headlights, nav screen, and other lighting has gotten brighter. But then again it might just be a Placebo Effect so don't take my word for it. Definitely worth it in my opinion.

I'm not saying it won't do anything, but the difference you are experiencing right now is probably from the battery being disconnected.
Report back after more time has passed and let us know. I am also curious.
By the way - I'd far, far rather 2,000rpm instead of 1,000. But that is just me...
Thanks

@MalbecG37S:
I think it would make more sense to be at 1,000-1,500 when cruising at 25mph and burning less gas than doing the same speed but at 2,000-2,500.

Well - that depends if your goal is fuel economy or engine response. Having said that - if 1k rpm at 25mph is your goal....SUCCESS!

Sure I'll update this thread if I notice any changes. But from what I know it shouldn't cease to perform the way it does now... I hope
