I'm wondering if it goes over the chrome piece on the trunk too , or does it have to come off , from the pics it looks like it fits right over the chrome piece on the trunk
My only gripe is I wish it was the full width of the trunk, but the more I look at it, that may look weird.
The ends are designed to follow the line on the trunk, rather than the rear. And it lips upward, rather than out. Definitely a "wing" and not a duckbill spoiler, like the OEM item.
I agree, it looks really awkward. Although likely better when painted body-color.
interesting, and different. props to Stillen for trying something new. i still prefer the OEM lip spoiler, but like someone said above if the Stillen lip was body-coloured it might not stand out as being so odd.

I'm really interested in this, I think it'll look much better body colored. Maybe even CF wrapped or something of the sort (thought that may be too bmwesque). Hopefully someone here will take the plunge and get one color matched for us to see.

It looks like it replaces the stock chrome piece. The camera and button sit flush.
"That part only uses high quality 3M automotive trim tape, Just like how the factory installs deck wings on all of the newer vehicles."
Also, I was behind a new Maxima with a factory trunk spoiler and it also just goes across the flat part of the trunk. Doesn't look bad when it's color matched. :P
