Can't Add Phone Numbers 2012 g37 Sedan
2012 G37X Sport with premium package (sedan).
The system recognizes my phone, which I can use hands free, but not only will it not access the phone book from the phone, but I cannot manually add phone numbers to the phone book. I get to the phonebook (which has no names in it), but there is no tab to "Add New." I can only speak the numbers and then ask to dial, or access recently called or received numbers. Tried searching the forums in vain, to no avail. Sorry if I missed this discussion elsewhere.:confused2: |

Are you trying to add the phone number while parked?

Did you import your phonebook first?

Due to the age, that phone probably doesn't have the correct bluetooth profile built in.
Geez, phones are practically free these days. Time to update? |
Do you see two phonebooks--the one built-in to the car and the (empty, not working) one where your phone contacts should be? Make sure you are trying to put entries into the car phonebook.

hit the phone button then go to handset phonebook, what happens? You may need to update your phone too.
