Koni Yellows on a Sedan anyone actually have them?
I've tried the search function over and over, and I just can't find anyone running 370z/G37 Coupe KONI Yellows on there sedan.
Does anyone run them on there sedan? I thought the rear shocks are over an inch shorter on the 370z/g37, so whats the deal? would they need different valving in that case?
I don't have koni but I do have Tokico shocks which are from a coupe on my sedan and they sit really well, so I would think it would be the same for koni

Gangster, your G is dropped pretty low right? Just wondering how well you think they'll hold up on a fairly aggressive drop? Also curious why Tokico won't list those shock as OK for Sedans (or at least make some specific for us sedan owners). Glad to know they're working out just fine, how much shorter than the OEMs are they (if you can recall).
thanks (sorry to sidetrack the Konis OP )
You know what, I'm not sure? the shock bodies looked identical, so we just swapped the mounts over, I didn't look if the piston length was different, but they all seem to have fit fine. The car rides pretty good.
I have Eibach springs. With only 9k miles on stock struts/shocks I felt the ride was underdamped but there were few options. I have experience with Koni adjustable sport inserts on a Maxima and WRX and both times was very impressed and satisfied with the ride. When KONI adjustables were available for the G37 coupe I was worried about fitment first but knew that they would be great. A few people have installed Tokico blues for the coupe on the sedan without any problem and also a few who installed the KONI's so that made me get them. The difference between the Koni's and stock is not subtle. It will feel like a more high end car. Certainly the ride is not a comfy as stock but you should not expect that from lowering springs, bigger sway bars, and higher damping. But likewise the lack of body control with the stock struts/shocks is tamed. I am very pleased with the ride now.
