I have the blue slate because they could not locate a car equipped to my preference in the graphite. Either works I guess.

I have a 2010 Graphite Shadow. I picked it because I prefer that color. The last 4 vehicles I've owned have been about the same color gray.
If I couldn't have found the GS, my next color choice would have been the Blue Slate.
I like a color that is dark enough to really shine when I wax it, without having to maintain a black car.
I just bought a 2014 SRX, in sapphire, which is a very dark blue. It is about as close as you can get to black.
The G is a lot easier to keep looking good than the SRX.

Welcome to the forum, but that post is from 8 years ago and the guy hasn't been on the site in 6 years probably a better idea would be posting your question in a more active thread rather than reviving such a dead one
