30K service--what's really needed?
 

So my 09 XS is now 2 years old and has only 32k on it.I plan on visiting my friendly dealership in a few days for service.Other than oil and filter,can you suggest what G needs at 30K,as I know the dealer will try and sell me:

caliper lube and cleaning
fuel injection cleaning
etc

The only thing I've done so far is oil and filter every 5K,and have changed my engine filters at 25K.

I'm thinking about changing the brake fluid because its 2 years old,or is that premature?

Your suggestions and thoughts are appreciated.

I'm about to do the same. Ifiniti shop manual calls for following for schedule 1 & 2:

1) engine oil & filter
2) engine air filter
3) in-cabin microfilter

But "Premium" maintenance calls for
4) coolant flush
5) engine drive belts
6) radiator cap
7) automatic transmission flush

I'm going to settle for the first schedule because I don't drive the car hard.

I just got mine done. I only did the oil change, transmission flush and got my brakes inspected because I was getting some excessive noise. They may have done the coolant flush too but I can't recall. I pushed the rest out to my next service.
