Very excited to see and feel how the car is afterwards. I got my mind on what wheels to run already too.

I'm running rear camber kit w/ toe bolts only, the "V" looking things are the front camber kits.

Thanks for posting this up with the pics. I'm also thinking of the BC coilovers for my sedan and this is helping to give me an idea of how complicated it will be.

apexi957 May 24, 2011 01:36 PM

Closer look at the coilovers

awsome cant wait till see when its done

Congrats on the purchase. Four quick questions if I may:

1. Why did you remove the back seat? Is that to feed up the adjustment extenders for the rear shocks? Presumably you would need to drill into the body to make that happen?

2. On the picture of the rear shock, I don't see side-facing adjustment knobs. I was under the impression that the newer BC Racing rear shocks had adjustment knobs on the side as well so that you could still adjust the shock without taking the shock off if you choose to not run the extenders (which is what I would prefer as I don't want to drill through the car).

3. For those that have done the install, I understand that setting the height for the front is as simple as rotating the lower collar and lock ring. For the rear however, you need to adjust both the shock and the spring independently. Do you adjust them the same # of threads to effect a change in height? All of the install writeups I have seen seem to skip over adjusting the height of the rear.

4. If you are dropping by a smaller margin (I would be looking at around .75" to 1" tops on an x Sedan), many posts I have seen seem to indicate a camber kit is not required, is that common consensus?

Thanks!
