Hey Guys,
I'm new here but I have an issue that's been driving me crazy.
I have a 09 G37x sedan
First, a few months back I had the P2A00 light come on.
I replaced the sensor twice, when the light kept coming on i figured out that my passenger side cat had a crack.
So I replaced both cats. 2 months later my light comes on again with codes P1148 & P0031.
- I checked the fuse and the fuse is good.
- I checked for leaks and can't find anything

Every time I reset the code it comes right back on as soon as I turn on the car.

Anyone else ever have this issue?
What was causing it?

Any ideas?

When I was getting a P2A00 it ended up being an exhaust leak between the cat and manifold. I brought it to an exhaust shop to remove the cats, clean up the flanges, replace the gaskets, and throw in some RTV sealant. No more CEL a few hundred miles later *knock on wood*. Not sure about the other codes. I'd suggest finding a shop that's willing to check for leaks or you can do it yourself. Mine used the stethoscope method.

I was able to solve P2A00 when I replaced the cats
Now these 2 codes have come up and I'm stuck

From searching I do see that this is a common problem with G37s
But I don't see any posts with people stating what fixed it
If it was an electrical problem what exactly was the cause?

I'm leaning towards it's an electrical issue because when I reset the codes the light comes right back on.
But I'm just not sure of where to start
